The Climb

These are two separate pieces I created with the inspiration from a series of Novels called the Mortal Instruments. I was also a bit intrigued by the Captain Morgan pose..and thus incorporated it. I'll be doing quite a few drawings involving people climbing up objects for the series. Not sure how many quite yet.

Panda

This piece was a creation from a dream I had. With bright swirling colors and odd animals playing instruments. But the most memorable one was of a Panda at the turn tables. So I incorporated my very odd dream to a visualization. Enjoy.

Glass

This is my piece illustrated with ink and water of a simple glass and light bulb. I personally didn't like it..but it has gotten good reviews so I'm please with how it turned out.

D.O.L.L

This is an illustration I made for my Art class. Not sure when though..my days seem blended together. So here it is, my concept of a robotic human. I was looking through a science book and was interested in the ideas of what if instead of muscle fibers were cords. An thus the idea formed from there.

Wire Trap

This peice is my Mixed Media design I'm putting in the art show. I used Wire, fabric, paint, ink and other objects. It took alot of time and was a very tedious design work to it. What do YOU see in it?

Adam/Scarowinds

This is a painting of Adam from my September through October Job at Scarowinds. He had two characters during his time at Scarowinds. This one, called Ryuk, and another, 7. This painting took about three days. I was experimenting fore-shortening, with the close-up of the bright prop apple, and the darker background. I broght it to Scarowinds to show off and everyone loved it. ^ ^ It also sparked an idea for another peice I created for another Scare Force character, LiLa. I only had a day to work on that one. I'll post that one at a later date.

Synthetic

I don't know what I was thinking during this peice. I was very confused in my personal life. I guess I could of added that in somewhere. I like this peice because I only got burnt two times! woohoo!! I used so many medias I'm going to try and name them off. Encaustic, paint, scratch board, found papers, and found objects. Post a comment!! ^ ^

Encaustic

This is my encaustic peice. I did it based on the time line of a human life. Child, the care free colors give of a bright innocent feel. Then the hectic life of a teenager. Then the calmer, loving, life of an adult. I just wanted something people could relate to. ((I burned myself three or four times making this.))

Paper Cutting ((A.K.A AWESOMNESS))

This is my awesome papercutting creation. This took three class periods and an hour at home to finish. The slicing and poking and ENDLESS CUTTING. But it was worth the sore fingers and the three paper cuts. I drew my fellow art student and was inspired when sitting on the bus with arrows on this train's car, grafetti. It had twisting arrows making words. and I was also inspired by the mythology of Medusa. And so.. this was created in my mind and put onto paper. I wish I would have changed a few things like add more arrows and had been alittle more patiant. But I love how it turned out.

Foooood...

Here's my Cupboard of my food. I tried to use Oil pastel for this again, yet, I don't think I could ever master this stuff. It kinda annoys me how I can't control how it shows up on the board. I didn't have alot of food to draw. *shrugges* I tried to experiment with color again.

Reflection

Alright, I searched all over my house for a reflective surface that is not traditional. Spoons...are to scratchy to render any reflection out of it, toaster.. has a white overcoat. Door knobs... are non-reflective artificial brass colored something-another.. So.. as I looked through my CD's I struck an idea. My reflection in my music. The beautiful color spectrum produced through the goldish cd. I wanted to change it and make my reflection stand out so I experimented with the colors. . Black and white pens and oil pastels.

Assignment number three

Sorry this took so long for me to post. This one I did strictly with pencil to illustrate the table after dinner at the May-Bybee-Lane House hold. We had a feast that day and it had gotten alittle bit dirty after that. ^-^

Oooo..I really need to clean out my closet...

TADA!! This is my Closet. Amazing is it not? From my paper lanterns to my Converses. All done with..bum bum bum!!! PITT artist pens. I worked with the shadows by using two different shades of pens. See? Told you it would get better. I even made magnified squares to get a closer look at the details. I personally don't like still-life drawings.. but I must say, I did an okay job on it. ^^

First Assignment ^^

This is my first peice for my AP start, I'm sorry for the delay..had a bit of technical difficulty. But it's all sorted out now.

These are all my hands, I drew all of them first with a 2H pencil, then I went over it with prisma color pencils. Afterward I put some white charcol to add a bit of reflection. I darkened some of the lines for yah'.

I know it doesn't seem to blast any thing out of the water..but wait, just wait. An I promise it'll get much better. ^^

POLYTYCH!!! =^o^=

This peice right here? This peice right here is my flair!! WOOOSH!!

I used paint and Awesome Silvery spray paint!! and some ceiling stuff I forgot the name of. Annnd... a board thingy. (that took forever to cut).

BUT if you add my skillz to all those things you would get this!!

I would describe the process to you buuuuttt.. I don't quite remember. =^///^=

COMMENT!!

It's about METAL!!

Diptych!!! Or Triptych... depends on how you look at it really. That week I was experimenting with copper wire I found in the back of a drawer. The center peice thingy was just me randomly putting stuff together, I wasn't intending on really putting it on any peice. But it DOES seem to fit in doesn't it? This peice was one big experiment. I never used spray paint, or wire, or a Diptych all together.

Well, leave me comments please!!

This Master Peice is a cd cover.. Tsukuyori, Suika!! Senseless Watermellon! It's made of Acrilic Paint, Waterpaint, Pencil, Pen, and Sharpe. My Music is all about Pop, Punk, and Rock. I wanted this cover to reflect that. The crazyness known as J-punk, J-pop, J-rock are all in this peice.. It's weird......like me. ^/////^

This peice is my awesome Diptyce*. I took a sketch of a student holding antlers and turned it, fliped it, rearranged it. Now it's all pretty and Awesome.

This peice I did for an assignment called "The Call".

Others did something pertaining to a phone. I wanted to do something new and different.

I was going to do something to do with the emotional side all girls go through..the breakup.

I used a shattered mirror, glass, paper, burned paper, burned foil, and a secret technique I cannot reveal at this time...I forgot. ^^

OH!! and the page I used had the words The dark Years. I thought it would fit.

I know how it feels to be broken up with..only happened once. I have had alot of friends who have had break ups and were "torn up" about it.

It's a double edge symbol..I think. ^///^

This master-peice is known as "It's too Late". The picture I drew with ink pens and some hints of paint. (It's my hand so I had to make it pretty.)

I drew it so it would look like someone was chasing her love who was about to leave her. I remembered it off a black and white movie I watched on TMC about six years ago.

The text that is in French is the song "It's too late to apologize" by Lil' Wanye...believe it or not.

I really like this peice. It's my best design thus far.
